During concerts they express their energy through a strong scenic impact and the loud volume. Alessandro Giovannini - lead-vocals, Stefano Tarsitani and Gianluca Giordano - guitars, Giulio Chidini - bass and Gianluca Giannasso – drums and percussions, are the key ingredients of this explosive band. One answer above all is given when they are asked about the meaning of the name ‘Starla’: “It is an essence, a will which exists when we are either on stage or during rehearsal and between us at all times”.
Their passion for Rock music - from the 60s’ till present - leads them to mix different genres while creating music. In the Album, released in May 2008, it is possible to listen to tracks like Anima00 - with a definitely catchy guitar riff, or E-Motivo - introspective and mysterious, or Dandy – toughly ironic, alongside easier going tracks like Fiume - radiant and energetic.
The entire Album is a vivid portrait of the Starla’s universe, which places itself along the alternative Rock made in Italy, with some psychedelic insertion.
Starla focused directly on the Rome's audience, quickly gaining a broad consensus while performing in premises directly involved with Rock.
In May 2007 the band signs a label contract with the independent Orange Park Records to realize the debut album, named after the band itself - on sale early the following year.
This will give Starla the chance to get a wider audience and propose their new material, betting on each individual talent.
The band’s goal is to perform as much as possible throughout Italy and fulfil the audience with its true essence.
