The Road Connection
/
The Road Connection is formed by the desire of Lorenzo Cortoni to give life to his songs. The choice of its members falls back in the tightened friendships with Emiliano Caivano (Guitar), Francesco Rametta (Bass), Francesca Cinanni (Backing Vocals), and Antonio Oliva (Drums) that were forged during years of playing in live clubs of the Roman scene. The name of the band, The Road Connection, is inspired by the freedom of being on the road, driving and playing live across country.
The musical experience of the five artists melts in a new connection of styles; and the sound of the band becomes a fusion between the roughness of British Rock and sounds of the American west coast. The live set has roots in rock, soul, and blues.
Fascinated by their music Orange Park Records proposes a contract in order to produce and to distribute the album digitally worldwide, which the band signs. In May 2014, the album Movin’ is finished and released by the end of October 2014 with a Live performance at the Big Mama Club, which is the historic Rock, Blues, Soul music club of the Italian capital, Rome.
